Haha, that reminds me, we took Rainer's 14 yr old German niece to a Vietnamese restaurant in noVA with hanging ducks and a roasted pig sitting on the counter. She was horrified and refused to eat anything (even fried noodles)!Christina | AmiExpat.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12990953167325306238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052429.post-32226163330224677712007-02-07T19:07:00.000+01:002007-02-07T19:07:00.000+01:00And you know what? Also: flavor isn't particularly welcome here, either.Ed Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17805932361842578943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052429.post-9383718016722681452007-02-07T18:37:00.000+01:002007-02-07T18:37:00.000+01:00Weird, my Vietnamese college roommates pronounced ...Weird, my Vietnamese college roommates pronounced it more like "fuuuh". I miss living with them. The food was awesome. With so many Vietnamese in Germany, you'd think they'd be more Vietnamese restaurants.Christina | AmiExpat.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12990953167325306238noreply@blogger.com
